Daisy Green – The Facts

The plain version of everything on this site, for anyone who wants the facts without the photographs: who we are, where each place in the collection is and what it serves, how to book, what we promise about sourcing, and the two things we run alongside the food.

Who We Are

Daisy Green is an independent, Australian-founded hospitality business built in London. It was founded in 2012 by Prue Freeman and Tom Onions, who started on the streets as a founding member of the street-food collective KERB with two vintage ice cream vans and three tricycles. It has grown organically since into a collection of cafés, restaurants, bars, secret underground gardens, canal boats and shipping containers, each designed on its own terms. The business is 100% owned by Prue and Tom, with no private equity and no franchising, and is a Certified B Corporation. The registered company is Daisy Green Food Limited.

The tagline is "Creating joy through the Art of Aussie Hospitality". Art is on every wall: Sir Peter Blake painted the Darcie & May Green barges and the Southbank container; Shuby, Lucy Sparrow, Oli Epp, Justin Hibbs, Louise Dear, Luap, grAzie, Bonnie and Clyde, Ant Hamlyn, Collagism, Marco Walker, Peter Liversidge and Rosalind Davis have work in the rooms. The Art page walks through it room by room; at Holland Park the exhibitions change with the seasons under Being Nature, curated by Justin Hibbs.

The Collection

Every place has its own page with its story, opening hours, map, menu and events. Hours change by season; the page is the source of truth, and each place's Google Business listing is linked from it.

Menus

Every kitchen in the collection cooks its own menu; the Menu page opens each place's brunch, all-day, dinner and drinks lists, with allergens and calories per dish. Consumer prices are shown without a pound sign. Dogs are welcome before 5pm at every place except Larry's, at tables set aside for them (at Peggy Jean, on the terrace only).

Sourcing and B Corp

The sourcing commitment: at least 50% of core products come from independent suppliers within 75 miles of London. Independent means privately owned – neither listed on a public stock exchange nor owned by private equity. Daisy Green is a Certified B Corporation; the 2025 ESG report is on the Sustainability page.

From the 2025 ESG report: Daisy Green is carbon neutral and on track to Net Zero by 2040. About 1,800 tonnes of CO2 have been avoided through its partnership with First Mile, and none of its waste goes to landfill. In a year it donated £120,000 to more than 50 local and national charities, and Radio Lamington has delivered 85,000 sweet treats to emergency services workers since the pandemic. The organisations it supports reach all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. Across the menus, 80% of the ingredients are grown or produced in the UK.

Awards

Three LIV Hospitality Design Awards: Bondi Green in 2020 (Interior Design – Restaurant, Casual), Paradise Green in 2022 (Interior Design – Cocktail Bar) and Audrey Green & Larry's at the National Portrait Gallery in 2023 (Interior Design – Historic & Heritage, and Interior Design of the Year – Eating Space). Scarlett Green is a Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Best of the Best 2025. Press coverage, with links to the originals, is on the Press page.

Radio Lamington

Born in the summer 2020 lockdown, when the team baked and delivered lamingtons to NHS front-line workers. It continues as A Lamington for a Lamington: for every box of lamingtons bought, one is delivered to an NHS team, every Friday, to hospitals across London. Close to 100,000 lamingtons and cakes have been donated. Radio Lamington also sells lamington boxes nationwide.

Green Pages

Daisy Green's magazine: a new issue every month, every issue readable on the Green Pages page as a flip-book and as text.

What's On

PAIRED is the wine-dinner series, hosted in the collection's kitchens through the year; tastings and one-off dinners are listed on What's On with tickets.

This page states facts from the site's own data as of 11th September 2026. Where a fact changes, the place's page changes first; this page follows.
