Darcie & May Green: Sir Peter Blake’s barges on the Grand Union Canal

Darcie & May Green, Paddington Central

Darcie & May Green is a canalside restaurant and bar in Paddington Basin, set across two narrowboats on the Regent’s Canal.

About Darcie & May

Known for its bold exterior artwork by Sir Peter Blake and rooftop terrace, it’s one of the most distinctive spots for brunch, dinner and drinks in the area.

The nameDarcie and May are the names the two boats already carried when they were passenger boats.

Children

Please note that Darcie & May Green are not suitable for children, toddlers and babies without close parental supervision due to the nature of being located on a working canal. Darcie & May have multiple levels and openings onto the water that can be extremely dangerous. Any children that are brought onto the boats must be supervised by an adult at all times for their own safety. Sadly Daisy Green is unable to take any responsibility for adults who choose to bring children onto the barges.

Best For
